Hello fellow rabbit lovers, my name is Ashley Ermish the face of Ermish Ranch. I'm a small family owned ARBA Registered rabbitry located in the sunny central valley of California. Both my daughter and I are active in the show community and enjoy raising rabbits to the ARBA Standard of perfection. Rabbits have been a blessing in my life, more ways than I can count. I couldn't imagine a day without them.
My rabbits are part of our family first and foremost. I strive to better the breed to ARBA (SOP) standards with my main focus on black tort, self black and otter. I enjoy socializing and hand raising all of my babies whether they are for show, brood, 4H, FFA or pet. It is crucial to have my rabbits start out with a strong and healthy foun

I enjoy socializing and hand raising all of my babies whether they are for show, brood, 4H, FFA or pet. It is crucial to have my rabbits start out with a strong and healthy foundation. This means being handled often, socialized with my daughter and daily health checks. I want all my rabbits to leave Ermish Ranch with the best temperament possible for your family.

One of the most frequently asked questions I get is, do Holland Lops make good companions for kids? My answer in short is this; When you have done your research and understand that rabbits are high maintenance pets, require exotic vet care, consume a ton of hay, poop alot, have specific dietary needs, may bite or scratch, can be hormonal, don't always enjoy being picked up or cuddled and by nature are a prey animal. If then, you still think a rabbit would be a great 10-year commitment then yes, I may say a rabbit could be a great companion for a child. Teaching kids the proper handling and care under parent supervision is important from the start. Rabbits are fragile and can get hurt easily. With that said, rabbits can make the best of pets, each with their own individual personality. They can be litter box trained and make wonderful pets for families that reside in apartments or condos.
Please contact me if you cannot find an answer to your question.
If you are interested in the adoption of a rabbit from Ermish Ranch please fill out my adoption application or send me an email.
The answer is YES, I do work with select rabbit transports. This cost is not included in the adoption fee of your rabbit and is the sole responsibility of the adopter to set up and pay for.
This is often the first thing I get asked. "How much?" My rabbits are priced on their quality, type and genetics, more importantly the time and care that goes into them. Questions I will ask you. Are they being used for show or brood? Is it for youth / 4H/ FFA? Or are you looking for a pet? Once we open up a conversation about the specifics you are looking for in a rabbit, I can better give an accurate adoption fee.
I don't work off a waitlist. Since most my rabbits are grown out to at least 3 months old to see who makes the cut to my show team, it's difficult to work off of a waiting list. I will post rabbits on a (FCFS) first come first served basis. If you are looking for something in particular, I can add you to my 'interest list' and if I have a baby or adult become available, then I will contact you.
My rabbits are adopted quickly, so feel free to reach out about availability or to ask any questions.
